What if I'm unable to complete the assessment in one sitting, can I take a break?
Yes. If you are in a timed section you must close the assessment's internet browser window to ensure that the timer doesn't continue to count down. When you are ready to resume, login into your account here. You will be taken to the page where you previously stopped and you will have the remaining time on the clock. You may also take a break during any of the instruction sequences since these are not timed. However, your session will timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity so it's still recommended that you close your assessment's browser window if you will be gone for an extended period of time.

Can I apply to more than one manufacturing position?

It is John Deere’s policy that you can apply to one location only and you may only apply to either a Skilled Trades or Production position every three months. If you are qualified for more than one Skilled position, you may complete an application for each position for which you are qualified at the same location. If you are applying to Production, you may fill out only one application. Once the three months have elapsed, you are eligible to submit another application either to a different position or location.

Please Note: Completing multiple applications (particularly under false pretenses, such as using multiple phone numbers) before the reapply period has elapsed is grounds for immediate disqualification from the process.

Example Scenarios:

  • I applied for Dubuque Production, can I also apply for Waterloo Works Factory Production? – No, you may only apply to one location every three months.
  • Can I apply to Waterloo Works Factory Production: Assembly and Waterloo Works Factory Production: Material Handler? I am qualified for both. – No, you may only apply for one production position within a three-month time period. Please apply to your first choice.
